IGF1R (Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Receptor, CD221)는 IGF-1 및 IGF-2에 의해 활성화되는 수용체 티로신 키나아제로, 다양한 암에서 관련성이 보고되었습니다. 이 단백질은 두 개의 알파 및 두 개의 베타 서브유닛으로 구성된 테트라머 형태이며, 알파 서브유닛은 IGF-1에 대해 높은 결합 친화도를 가집니다. 결합 후 IGF-1R은 Tyr1134, 1135, 1136 위치에서 자가 인산화를 거쳐 활성화되며, 이후 RAS, RAF, ERK, p38, JNK 경로를 통해 세포 증식 관련 유전자 전사를 유도합니다.
