- ~45% identity with Neuroligin-1, -2, and -3
- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45696 detects Neuroligin 4 in 20 µg of mouse brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as secondary antibody
- Detects approximately 125–130 kDa
- Does not cross-react with other Neuroligins

Target Information
Neuroligin-4, X-linked (NLGN4X) is a postsynaptic cell-adhesion molecule interacting with presynaptic neurexins, bridging the synaptic cleft and playing an essential role in synaptic transmission.
There are five neuroligin genes in humans: NLGN1, NLGN2, NLGN3, NLGN4X, and NLGN4Y.
Mutations in NLGN3 and NLGN4X are linked to Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
Expression of NLGN4X has been reported in human pluripotent stem cells.
