Target Information
STIM1 (stromal interacting molecule; also known as GOK)는 소포체 내 칼슘 고갈을 감지하여 세포막의 Orai1 채널에 신호를 전달하는 역할을 합니다. 칼슘 농도가 감소하면 STIM1은 올리고머화되어 Orai1을 활성화시켜 세포 내로 칼슘 유입을 유도합니다. 또한 STIM1은 미세소관 말단과 결합하여 소포체의 튜불 확장에 관여합니다.
