Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Adenylate kinase regulates cellular adenine nucleotide composition by catalyzing the reversible transfer of phosphate groups among adenine nucleotides.
Three isozymes (AK1, AK2, AK3) exist in vertebrates:
- AK1: Found in cytosol of skeletal muscle, brain, and erythrocytes
- AK2, AK3: Found in mitochondria of tissues such as liver and heart
Mutations in the AK1 gene are associated with nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia due to reduced catalytic activity.
