Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Estrogen-related receptor alpha 1 (ERRα, ERR1) is an orphan member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily.
ERR family members share an almost identical DNA-binding domain with 68% amino acid identity to that of the estrogen receptor.
ERR1 binds to ERRα response elements (ERRE) containing the consensus half-site sequence 5′-tnaaggtca-3′ and may regulate the MCAD promoter.
It functions as a metabolic regulator and is highly expressed in tissues that preferentially metabolize fatty acids.
The corresponding gene for ERR1 is NR3B1.
