Product Specific Information
- Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis:
Human, Gorilla, Gibbon (100%); Rat (88%); Mouse, Pig, Bovine, Bat (81%). - For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
Human follicle stimulating hormone (HuFSH) is a glycoprotein produced from urine of post-menopausal women, with a total molecular mass of 35,500 Dalton.
HuFSH is a heterodimeric hormone consisting of a 165 amino acid α-chain (non-active) and a 115 amino acid β-chain (active).
HuFSH induces maturation of Graafian follicles of the ovary, promotes development of germinal cells in males, and activates cytosolic tyrosine kinase.
The HuFSH is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
