- Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Bat, Bovine, Hamster, Elephant, Panda, Horse, Rabbit, Pig, Turkey, Chicken, Lizard, Xenopus, Pufferfish, Zebrafish, Stickleback (100%).
- For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
- After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
The G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily consists of approximately 600–1,000 members and represents the largest known class of molecular targets with proven therapeutic value.
GPR22 is an orphan GPCR belonging to the class A rhodopsin-like GPCRs. It is highly expressed in several human brain regions, heart, and coronary arteries. Expression is also observed in normal pancreas and in pancreatic, colorectal, prostate, and liver cancers.
