Target Information
Cytokeratins (CK)는 각질화 조직(예: 피부) 및 비각질화 세포(예: 중피세포)의 상피세포에 존재하는 중간 필라멘트 단백질입니다. 최소 20종 이상의 CK가 확인되며, 대부분은 산성(type I) 또는 염기성(type II) 폴리펩타이드로 분류됩니다.
Keratin 14는 저분자량 산성 케라틴(type I) 계열에 속하며, Keratin 5와 함께 존재하여 층상 상피세포를 단순 상피세포와 구별하는 데 유용합니다. 또한 편평세포암 식별 및 유방암 예후 마커로 사용됩니다. 모든 상피세포는 최소 한 종류의 산성 및 염기성 케라틴을 발현합니다.
