This antibody detects endogenous levels of total FES protein.
Target Information
FES (also known as FPS) is a tyrosine protein kinase required for maintenance of cellular transformation. Its chromosomal location is associated with a specific translocation event found in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia and is also involved in normal hematopoiesis. Alternative splicing results in multiple variants encoding different isoforms.
