Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
Target Information
IL-3Ra (Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha) belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family and forms a heterodimer with the common beta (βc or CDw131) subunit.
IL-3Ra transmits the signal of Interleukin-3, and heterodimerization with IL-3Rb is required for receptor activation.
IL-3Ra subunits are known to be overexpressed in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) blasts compared with normal hematopoietic cells, making them potential targets for novel therapeutic agents.
