Target Information

Nuclear factor kB p65 (NF-κB p65) is encoded by the RELA gene and located on chromosome 11 in humans.
NF-κB p65, also known as RelA, belongs to the Rel family of proteins and forms heterodimers with p50 or p52 subunits.
Upon TNFα binding to its receptor, IKK is phosphorylated, leading to phosphorylation and degradation of IκB, thereby activating NF-κB.
NF-κB p65 plays a key role in transcription of the immunoglobulin κ gene in mature B-lymphoid cells.
