Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
TGIF (TG-interacting factor) belongs to the TALE (three-amino acid loop extension) superclass of homeodomain transcription factors. TALE homeobox proteins are conserved transcriptional regulators. TGIF binds to retinoid X receptor (RXR) responsive elements and acts as a transcriptional co-repressor of SMAD2. It may play a role in developmental and adult nuclear signaling. Mutations in TGIF1 are associated with holoprosencephaly type 4, a structural brain anomaly.
