Product Specific Information
Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as a ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain band and a ~50 kDa heavy chain band.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
STAT6 protein is a transcription factor activated by cytokines such as interleukin-4 (IL-4) and IL-13. STAT6-deficient models show impaired IL-4-mediated functions including Th2 helper T-cell differentiation, surface marker expression, T-cell proliferation, and IgE class switching.
STAT6 mRNA is expressed in peripheral blood lymphocytes, colon, intestine, ovary, prostate, thymus, spleen, kidney, liver, lung, and placenta. STAT6 plays a critical role in Th2 immune response and IL-4-mediated biological processes, existing in two isoforms: STAT6a and STAT6c.
