Product Specific Information
- Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as ~150 kDa band and upon reduction generates a ~25 kDa light chain and ~50 kDa heavy chain.

Target Information
STAT2 is a member of the STAT protein family. In response to cytokines and growth factors, STAT family members are phosphorylated by receptor-associated kinases, forming homo- or heterodimers that translocate to the nucleus as transcription activators.
Upon interferon (IFN) stimulation, STAT2 forms a complex with STAT1 and p48 (ISGF3G), acting as a transactivator without direct DNA binding.
Transcription adaptor P300/CBP (EP300/CREBBP) interacts specifically with STAT2 and may contribute to adenovirus-mediated inhibition of IFN-alpha response.
