For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The membrane-associated protein encoded by the ABCB1 gene belongs to the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily.
ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes and are divided into seven subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White).
This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily, involved in multidrug resistance.
It acts as an ATP-dependent drug efflux pump with broad substrate specificity, reducing drug accumulation in resistant cells and contributing to anticancer drug resistance.
It also functions as a transporter in the blood-brain barrier.
