For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

LIME (Lck-interacting molecule) is a 30 kDa double-palmitoylated protein with a basic cytoplasmic domain expressed by T cells. Upon ligation of CD4 or CD8 T cell coreceptors, LIME is phosphorylated by Src-family kinases and associates with Lck, Fyn, and their negative regulator Csk.
Csk-mediated phosphorylation of the C-terminal negative-regulatory tyrosine of LIME-associated Lck can increase enzymatic activity compared to the total Lck pool. Thus, LIME functions as a positive regulator of TCR-dependent T cell signaling, though in some contexts, it may mediate inhibitory signals.
