Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They consist of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, while maintaining batch-to-batch consistency unique to recombinant production.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability typical of polyclonal antibody production.
This antibody is predicted to react with Rat and Bovine.

Target Information
Histone H3 is one of the DNA-binding proteins found in the chromatin of all eukaryotic cells. Along with four core histone proteins, it binds to DNA to form nucleosomes. Histones play central roles in transcription regulation, DNA repair, replication, and chromosomal stability.
Post-translational modifications of histones, such as methylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation, influence chromatin structure and gene regulation. The N-terminal tail of histone H3 can undergo multiple modifications that affect cellular processes.
