Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene belongs to the neurotrophin family, which regulates survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. Expression is ubiquitous and less influenced by environmental signals. Knockouts of other neurotrophins (NGF, BDNF, NT3) are lethal early postnatally, whereas NTF5-deficient mice show minor cellular deficits and develop normally to adulthood.
