Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The NT3 (Neurotrophin-3) protein is part of the neurotrophin family, which regulates the survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. It is closely related to nerve growth factor (NGF) and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF). NT3 may contribute to maintenance of the adult nervous system and neuronal development during embryogenesis.
NTF3-deficient mice exhibit severe limb movement defects. The mature peptide sequence is conserved across mammals, including human, pig, rat, and mouse.
