Applications and Tested Dilution

Product Specific Information

The 390 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD31 (PECAM-1, gpIIa), a 130–140 kDa surface protein expressed on endothelial cells, leukocytes, and platelets.
CD31 mediates homotypic adhesion and plays roles in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions and signal transduction.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01)

Usage Recommendation:

• Add 5 µL of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer per sample (10³–10⁸ cells/test).
• Add buffer to antibody cocktails before combining with cells for optimal staining.
• For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample.

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology based on nucleic acid dye structures engineered for optimal fluorescence signatures minimizing spillover and spread.

CD31 (PECAM-1) is an inhibitory coreceptor regulating T and B cell signaling via ITIM motifs. It is expressed throughout the vascular compartment, mainly at intercellular junctions.
Functions include:

• Homophilic binding and cell-cell adhesion
• Regulation of integrin-mediated adhesion and transendothelial migration
• Roles in angiogenesis, apoptosis, autoimmunity, macrophage phagocytosis, and thrombosis
