Anti-TSLP is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process including delipidation, salt fractionation, and ion-exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis.
This antibody is specific for human TSLP protein.
BLAST analysis indicates 100% homology with the immunizing sequence.
Immunoelectrophoresis shows a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin and anti-Rabbit serum.
Cross-reactivity with TSLP from other sources has not been determined.

Target Information

TSLP is a 159 amino acid, four-helix bundle hemopoietic cytokine that signals through a heterodimeric receptor complex (TSLP receptor and IL-7Rα).
It affects myeloid cells and induces release of T cell-attracting chemokines from monocytes.
TSLP enhances maturation of CD11c(+) dendritic cells and primes them to produce IL-12 after CD40 ligand stimulation.
It plays roles in regulatory T cell selection, CD4(+) T cell homeostasis, and allergic inflammation by activating mast cells.
TSLP expression is found in heart, liver, and prostate tissues.
