Target Information
TFG (TRK fused gene) is a human homolog of mouse TFG protein. It contains an N-terminal coiled-coil structure, a SPYGQ-rich region, and octicosapeptide repeats.
Research indicates:
- TFG modulates SHP-1 activity
- Acts as a novel member of the NF-κB pathway
- Associates with proteins such as TANK and NEMO
- Involved in oncogenic rearrangements with NTRK1 (thyroid TRK-T3 oncogene), ALK (anaplastic lymphoma), and NOR1 (myxoid chondrosarcoma)
