Target Information
G-protein beta subunit like (GBL protein)은 WD-40 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 새로운 구성원으로, 7개의 WD-40 반복 모티프를 가진 고도로 보존된 세포질 단백질입니다.
LST8는 mTOR 신호 복합체(TORC1)의 기능적 구성 요소로, mTOR 경로를 양성 조절합니다. 이 단백질은 mTOR의 키나아제 도메인과 상호작용하여 raptor와의 결합을 안정화시킵니다.
또한 LST8는 세포 성장 조절 및 영양소 및 성장 인자 매개 mTOR 신호전달(S6K1 포함)에 관여합니다. 인슐린 자극 시 LST8 발현이 증가한다는 보고가 있으며, 이는 인슐린 수용체 활성화와 관련된 세포 내 과정, 예를 들어 인슐린 유도 포도당 수송 및 글리코겐 합성과 연관이 있을 수 있습니다.
Northern blot 분석에 따르면 LST8는 대부분의 조직에서 발현되며, 특히 뇌와 고환에서 높은 발현을 보입니다.
