This antibody reacts with Lyn (p56/p53), a non-receptor Src-family tyrosine kinase expressed in hematopoietic tissues (intracellular antigen).
Target Information
Lyn proto-oncogene (Lcl/Yes related novel protein tyrosine kinase) is encoded by the Lyn gene located on chromosome 8 in humans and belongs to the Src family kinase. It is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase that acts as a mediator in transducing cellular signaling. Lyn is mainly expressed in hematopoietic cell types, including lymphoid and myeloid cells, but not in T lymphocytes. Lyn plays diverse roles such as regulation of B cell receptor signaling, mast cell signaling, and epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT).
