- Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.

Target Information
Interleukin-4 (IL-4) is a pleiotropic, immune-modulatory cytokine produced by activated T cells and serves as a ligand for the interleukin 4 receptor. IL-4 has a broad range of actions and shares overlapping functions with IL-13 due to receptor cross-binding. STAT6 plays an important role in mediating IL-4 immune regulatory signaling. The IL-4 gene is located within a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 5q, near IL-13 and IL-5, and is coordinated by long-range regulatory elements over a 120 kb range. IL-4 delta 2 is a known splice variant.
