Product Specific Information
This AF29-4D12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD337 (NKp30), a major natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) expressed on NK cells. CD337 is involved in activating and expanding resting NK cells through interactions with dendritic cells, enabling elimination of tumor, virus-infected, and immature dendritic cells. Reported ligands include B7-H6.
The AF29-4D12 antibody cross-reacts with rhesus macaque.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and validated for flow cytometry of normal human peripheral blood cells
- Recommended use: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL final volume)
- Suitable for 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) that assists NK cells in lysing tumor cells. It interacts with CD3-zeta (CD247), a T-cell receptor component. A polymorphism in the 5′ untranslated region has been associated with mild malaria susceptibility. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified (RefSeq, May 2010).
