Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information

In intact cells, DNA closely associates with histones and other nuclear proteins to form chromatin. Chromatin remodeling is a key component of transcriptional regulation, largely influenced by histone acetylation.
Acetylation of histone lysine residues increases DNA accessibility to transcription factors, while deacetylation is associated with transcriptional silencing.

Several mammalian proteins function as nuclear histone acetylases, including GCN5, PCAF, p300/CBP, HAT1, and TAF II p250.
HDAC8, isolated from human kidney, is a histone deacetylase with unique tissue distribution and nuclear localization. It plays a role in tissue development and cancer etiology.
