Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MIP-3α (CCL20). The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using immobilized Human MIP-3α (CCL20) matrix.
Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human MIP-3α (CCL20) by sandwich ELISA, use 0.5–2.0 µg/mL antibody concentration. In conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human MIP-3α (CCL20) (500-P95ABt), detection sensitivity reaches 0.2–0.4 ng/well.
Western Blot:
For Western Blot analysis, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL antibody concentration. Detection limit for Recombinant Human MIP-3α is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Target Information
Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-3 alpha (MIP-3α), also known as CCL20, is expressed in liver, lungs, lymph nodes, and peripheral blood lymphocytes. It is upregulated by inflammatory signals and downregulated by IL-10. MIP-3α signals through CCR6 and acts as a chemoattractant for lymphocytes and dendritic cells.
