AA Sequence of Recombinant Protein:

Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human IP-10 (CXCL10). Anti-Human IP-10 (CXCL10)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Human IP-10 (CXCL10) matrix.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human IP-10 (CXCL10) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution), a concentration of 0.5–2.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. In conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Human IP-10 (CXCL10) (500-P93Bt) as a detection antibody, allows detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human IP-10 (CXCL10).

Western Blot:
To detect hIP-10 by Western Blot analysis, this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Used with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hIP-10 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

IP-10 (interferon-gamma induced protein 10 kD; in mouse also called cytokine responsive gene 2, Crg-2, or mob-1) is a highly inducible, primary response gene belonging to the CXC chemokine superfamily. It was first cloned in 1985.
The biological functions of IP-10 include:

• Stimulation of monocytes, natural killer, and T-cell migration
• Regulation of T-cell and bone marrow progenitor maturation
• Modulation of adhesion molecule expression
• Inhibition of angiogenesis

Mig and IP-10 share the same receptor, CXCR3.
