Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-1F6, IL-1F8, IL-1α, IL-1β, and IL-18 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the interleukin 1 cytokine family. It specifically inhibits NF-kappaB activation induced by IL1F6. This gene and eight other interleukin 1 family genes form a cytokine gene cluster on chromosome 2. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported.
