Product Specific Information
The MJ7/18 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD105 molecule (Endoglin), a 90 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer expressed by vascular endothelial cells. CD105 is involved in adhesion and embryonic angiogenesis.
Applications Reported:
Flow cytometric analysis, immunoprecipitation, Western blotting, and immunohistochemical staining of frozen tissue sections.
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of bEnd.3 cells or mouse splenocytes. Recommended use ≤ 0.5 µg per test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration is advised for each assay.

Target Information
CD105 (Endoglin) is a Type I transmembrane protein highly expressed on vascular endothelial cells. It forms an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Upregulation of endoglin is observed in tumor vasculature and proliferating endothelial cells, indicating its role as a proliferation-associated marker. CD105 binds TGF-β1 and TGF-β3 with high affinity but not TGF-β2.
