Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Rab proteins are Ras-like GTPases involved in intracellular protein transport. Members of the rab family mediate docking and fusion of transport vesicles between cellular compartments.
Rab9 is essential for trafficking mannose 6-phosphate receptor between the late endosome and trans-Golgi network (TGN), facilitating receptor recycling and efficient cellular transport.
Rab9 requires prenylation by two geranylgeranyl groups at the C-terminus, enabling membrane binding. Approximately 10–20% of cellular Rab9 is GDP-bound and associated with GDI-alpha in the cytosol, which recycles Rab9 to its membrane of origin.
