• Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration.
• For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below.
• Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
• Product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
• Dilute only prior to immediate use.
• Biotin Conjugated Anti-Human IL-3 Antibody is an IgG fraction purified via delipidation, salt fractionation, and ion-exchange chromatography.
• Heated to 56°C for 30 minutes for stability.
• Recognizes both native and recombinant human IL-3 in cell supernatants and certain body fluids.
• A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.

Target Information

Interleukin 3 (IL-3), also known as Mast Cell Growth Factor (MCGF), Multi-Colony Stimulating Factor (multi-CSF), or Eosinophil-CSF (E-CSF), is produced by activated T cells, mast cells, and eosinophils.
IL-3 acts as a hematopoietic growth factor stimulating colony formation of erythroid, megakaryocyte, neutrophil, eosinophil, basophil, mast cell, and monocytic lineages.
Its bioactivity is highly species-specific — human IL-3 has no activity on mouse cells.
IL-3 supports proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cell types and may also possess neurotrophic activity associated with neurologic disorders.
