Product Specific Information

The 3D12 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CCR7 (CD197), also known as EBI-1.
CCR7 is a G-protein-coupled chemokine receptor that binds CCL19 and CCL21, playing a key role in T cell and dendritic cell (DC) migration and immune regulation.
It is expressed on T cells and DCs, and helps distinguish naive, central, and effector memory T cell subsets.

• Optimal staining: Incubate ≥45 minutes at 2–8°C
• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
• Applications Tested: Pre-diluted; 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test (100 µL final volume)
• Cell range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test

Brilliant Violet™ 421 (BV421) emits at 423 nm and is excited by a 405 nm violet laser.

Target Information

CCR7 is a member of the G protein–coupled receptor family, induced by Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) and expressed in blood, bone marrow, lymph node, and intestine.
It regulates memory T cell migration to inflamed tissues and dendritic cell maturation.
CCR7 ligands include CCL19 (ECL) and CCL21.
Other related C-C chemokine receptors include CCR1–CCR5 and the Duffy antigen receptor, which are key in T cell chemotaxis and phagocyte migration during inflammation.
