Product Specific Information

The monoclonal mouse IgG1 kappa immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype control.
This P3.6.2.8.1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells. It should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Brilliant Violet™ 421 (BV421) emits at 423 nm and is intended for cytometers equipped with a violet (405 nm) laser. Ensure compatibility before use.

When using multiple Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant UV™, or polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Cat. No. SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Cat. No. 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a key role in the adaptive immune response, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is widely used in research applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in immunotherapy and vaccine development.
