The monoclonal rat IgG2a kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes and human peripheral blood cells; use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
- Fluorochrome: Brilliant Violet™ 421 (BV421) emits at 423 nm; designed for cytometers with a 405 nm violet laser.
- Recommendation: When using multiple polymer dye–conjugated antibodies (e.g., Super Bright, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.
