Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Proteins encoded by the complexin/synaphin gene family are cytosolic proteins involved in synaptic vesicle exocytosis. These proteins bind syntaxin, a component of the SNAP receptor complex. The CPLX2 protein binds to the SNAP receptor complex and disrupts it, facilitating transmitter release. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
