Product Specific Information
This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
TFG protein is a human homolog of mouse TFG protein. It contains an N-terminal coiled-coil structure, a SPYGQ-rich region, and octicosapeptide repeats.
Research shows that TFG modulates SHP-1 activity and is a novel member of the NF-κB pathway.
TFG is thought to function by associating with other proteins, including TANK and NEMO.
It was first identified as a partner of NTRK1 and is involved in generating the thyroid TRK-T3 oncogene and oncogenic rearrangements with ALK in anaplastic lymphoma and NOR1 in mixoid chondrosarcoma.
