Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Vesicular transport specificity is regulated by interactions among synaptobrevin/VAMP, syntaxin, and SNAP25, forming a complex for membrane fusion. SNAP23, a homolog of SNAP25, is ubiquitously expressed and binds multiple syntaxins and synaptobrevins/VAMPs.
It is a key component of the high-affinity receptor for general membrane fusion machinery and regulates transport vesicle docking and fusion.
Two alternative transcript variants encoding different protein isoforms have been identified.
