• For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
• For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) is a member of the Ena-VASP protein family. These proteins contain:

• EHV1 N-terminal domain: binds proteins with E/DFPPPPXD/E motifs and targets Ena-VASP to focal adhesions.
• Proline-rich domain: binds SH3 and WW domain-containing proteins.
• C-terminal EVH2 domain: mediates tetramerization and binds both G and F actin.

VASP is associated with filamentous actin formation and plays a role in cell adhesion and motility. It may also participate in intracellular signaling pathways regulating integrin–extracellular matrix interactions. VASP activity is regulated by PKA and PKG.
