Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The melanoma-associated antigen (MAGE) family includes multiple antigens recognized by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. MAGE genes were initially identified in various tumors and are known for their tumor-specific expression in adult tissues, making them useful targets for cancer immunotherapy.
MAGE-B18 (melanoma-associated antigen B18) is a 343 amino acid protein containing one MAGE domain and may play a role in tumorigenesis. The MAGE-B18 gene is located on human chromosome X, which contains approximately 153 million base pairs and over 1,000 genes.
