Product Specific Information
- Reconstitution: Add 100 µL distilled water to obtain ~1 mg/mL antibody concentration.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The POLR2E gene encodes the fifth largest subunit of RNA polymerase II, which synthesizes messenger RNA in eukaryotic cells. This subunit is shared by all three DNA-directed RNA polymerases and exists in two-fold molar excess relative to other subunits. It interacts with a hepatitis virus transactivating protein, suggesting a role in transcriptional activation. A pseudogene is located on chromosome 11.
