Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MMP3 (stromelysin-1) belongs to the peptidase M10A subfamily. It is secreted in its pro-protein form and activated by extracellular proteinase cleavage. MMP3 binds zinc and calcium ions and exhibits metallo-endopeptidase activity. The active enzyme degrades collagen, gelatin, fibronectin, and laminin, playing roles in wound repair and tissue remodeling. Mutations in this gene may contribute to coronary heart disease.
