- In direct ELISAs, less than 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) LRIG1 is observed.
- Less than 5% cross-reactivity with rhLRIG3 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
LRIG1 protein (Q96JA1) is encoded by a gene located on chromosome band 3p14.3, a region often deleted in various human cancers.
LRIG1 is considered a tumor suppressor gene in humans and encodes an integral cell-surface membrane protein expressed in specific human tissues.
The 143-kDa LRIG1 protein may be cleaved into 111-kDa and 32-kDa fragments.
LRIG1 may inhibit glial cell tumor growth, and its down-regulation is associated with tumor development and progression.
