This antibody recognizes epitope aa 26–75.
Staining of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections requires boiling the sections in 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10–20 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
FYN is a SRC-related kinase expressed in brain, skeletal muscle, and adipose tissues. Fyn functions in multiple pathways and plays a role in memory. It is a member of the protein-tyrosine kinase oncogene family and encodes a membrane-associated tyrosine kinase involved in cell growth control. The protein associates with the p85 subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase and interacts with the fyn-binding protein. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms exist.
