This antibody detects endogenous levels of GABBR2 only when phosphorylated at Ser884.
Target Information
GABBR2 is a multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the G-protein coupled receptor 3 family and the GABA-B receptor subfamily. GABA-B receptors inhibit neuronal activity via G protein-coupled second-messenger systems, regulating neurotransmitter release and ion channel as well as adenylyl cyclase activity. The receptor forms a heterodimeric complex with GABA-B receptor subunit 1, and both subunits are required for activity. Variants of this gene have been linked to nicotine dependence.
