Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PLA2G6 gene encodes an A2 phospholipase enzyme that catalyzes the release of fatty acids from phospholipids. This enzyme is involved in phospholipid remodeling, arachidonic acid release, leukotriene and prostaglandin synthesis, Fas-mediated apoptosis, and transmembrane ion flux in glucose-stimulated B-cells. Several transcript variants and isoforms have been identified, though only two full-length forms have been characterized to date.
