For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

N-cadherin is a 140 kDa transmembrane protein involved in calcium-dependent intercellular adhesion. It regulates morphogenetic movements during development and mediates cell surface adhesion through homotypic interactions.
Its function depends on association with the actin cytoskeleton via interactions between its C-terminal region and cytoplasmic catenin proteins.
The stability of this complex is modulated by phosphorylation and dephosphorylation of beta-catenin.
N-cadherin contains five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail. It plays a critical role during gastrulation and in establishing left-right asymmetry.
