Product Specific Information
The eBio1D4B monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD107a (LAMP-1), a type I lysosomal membrane protein that is extensively glycosylated. CD107a is constitutively expressed in late endosomes and lysosomes of all cells, and transiently appears on the surface of degranulating cytolytic T cells. It is implicated in cancer metastasis and serves as a marker for lysosomal storage disorders.
Applications Reported:
For intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Validated for intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of mouse thioglycolate-elicited peritoneal exudate cells. Recommended ≤0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal antibody titration is advised.
Fluorophore Information:
eFluor™ 450 is excited at 405 nm and emits at 445 nm (Violet laser). Alternative to Pacific Blue™. Ensure instrument compatibility.

Target Information
LAMP1 (CD107a) is a major lysosomal membrane protein involved in lysosome biogenesis and fusion with phagosomes. It contains multiple glycosylation sites and a short cytosolic tail. Upon activation, LAMP1 translocates to the plasma membrane via a tyrosine-based motif (YXXI). Aberrant localization affects lysosome trafficking. Surface LAMP1 promotes PBMC adhesion to endothelium, suggesting involvement in inflammation. Elevated LAMP1 is noted in Alzheimer’s disease and mast cell activation studies.
