For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Mammalian apurinic/apyrimidinic endonuclease (APE/ref-1) is a multifunctional enzyme involved in DNA repair and redox regulation of various transcription factors (Fos, Jun, NF-κB, Myb, HIF-1α, CREB, Pax).
APE repairs abasic sites in DNA caused by spontaneous loss, oxidative damage, chemotherapy, radiation, or UV exposure. It is differentially expressed across tissues and development stages, indicating interactions with multiple cellular proteins.
Regulation of APE by phosphorylation is mediated partly by casein kinase II. Increased APE expression is observed upon reoxygenation of hypoxic cells and in some malignant tissues, while decreased expression is associated with apoptosis induction.
